| Secondary Education |
- Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (12th class) with at least three optional subjects from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Biotechnology.

- Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary / Higher Secondary (12th class) with Science stream from a recognized board.

| Sanskrit Education |
- Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary / Higher Secondary (Varishtha Upadhyay) with Science stream from a recognized board.

| Home (State Forensic Science Lab) |
- Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (Science stream) with at least 2nd Division and possess any one of the following computer qualifications: Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Computer Science or Computer Application, ‘O’ Level certificate from NIELIT, or RS-CIT certificate from Kota.
